Experience

Gretchen has been working on designing HVAC/Plumbing systems and LEED/Green Building projects starting with an internship in 2007.  


She is well versed in designing numerous HVAC and plumbing systems, drafting documents, and 

providing construction administration;  Gretchen is very efficient at calculating heating/cooling and ventilation loads, choosing the best system, sizing equipment, sizing duct work, diffusers, piping, illustration in AutoCAD or Revit,  the formulation of specification writing and cost estimates for commercial office buildings, manufacturing plants, schools, universities, healthcare and residential housing.


Certifying over 35 LEED projects and an additional 25 sustainable projects Gretchen is well versed in Green Buildings.  The projects include office buildings, schools, warehouses, day care facilities, fire stations, hangars, conference centers, transportation center and residential homes.  She assisted the clients with each project’s LEED certification in a variety of ways.  Several projects she provided a full LEED service from the design charrette to the final certification submission.  Others she provided a small portion of the LEED certification or green building design.  She also has experience with basic energy modeling with Carrier HAP and eQUEST
